39 inches long Forged hay spear has 3 inches U bolt mount for clamping around vertical 3 inches square tubing with (2) 5/8 diameter heat treated ubolts.

This forged heat treated tempered hay bale spear, spike, tine or prong features a 39 inches long, heat treated, tapered heavy duty spear.

The spear is easily removed from the straight inches weld in sleeve inches by taking out the cross bolt and sliding the spear out of the sleeve. It reinstalls easily too.

Some customers buy extra sleeves for different spear, prong, spike arrangements or to use the same spear on other attachments. The sleeve can be welded to your hay moving attachment. Extra weld in sleeve is $15.

Our super penetrating heavy duty hay bale prong is 1 5/8 inches diameter at big end and gradually tapers to a point on the other end that pokes the hay bale for easy bale penetration and removal.

The weld in sleeve is 2 1/4 inches diameter and 6 inches long. Our 39 & 48 inches spears will interchange in the sleeve. Guaranteed! for 1 year, you break it, you return it we send you another, You pay freight only! Note: warranty is void if not installed properly or used for anything other than hay, poked in the ground, or used to lift the front of the tractor on a front end loader for example.

I have sold thousands of these hay bale spears and these spears are the best quality I can find for the money. Tested at 2500# overall on all of my tempered forged heat treated spears! works well on 4x5,4x6, 5x5 and 5x6 high density center bales.

You can also Replace your old fat 2" spears with our 2" OD sleeve adapters to fit these slim spears just $15 each for straight sleeve with cross-bolt style accepts 1/2" bolt. If you currently have 2" diameter spears and having a difficult time poking or getting away from the hay bale, you might want to consider this sleeve for easy conversion.
